Advertising on Facebook Groups and Pages
Generally, Trophy Club Media (TCM) does not allow third parties to advertise products or services on social media sites owned/operated or managed by TCM including Facebook Pages and Groups.
However, in recognition of the unique nature of Facebook and the historical context of prior usage on Facebook groups and pages, we strive to keep a balance between free and open exchange of business advertising with the needs of TCM to maintain profitability. Therefore, we are providing this addendum to our advertising policies to address specific needs.
Real Estate Listings
Without any doubt the bulk of advertising historically provided on the pages and groups in Facebook relate to real estate. These include listings, notices of open houses and general services offered.
General Services. Realtor Service Advertisements will not be permitted to be placed by third parties without a paid services agreement.
Property Listings. Listings of properties for sale will not be permitted to be placed by third parties without a paid services agreement
Open Houses. Realtors groups may post one notice of an open house on the day of the open house without fee. Only one listing may be provided per day by the same realtor group even if multiple open houses are being provided by that group. Realtors will self-police and TCM will monitor.
We feel that open house notices are a public service to the community insofar as it is good for residents to know when non-residents will be in their neighborhood. Whereas property listings and general services are straight up advertising and therefore should be subject to limitations of a paid service agreement.
Due to the potential volume of real estate listings, a fee structure is implemented which will keep the number of paid advertisements to an acceptable social level without being spammy to our readers. The fee is as follows (but subject to revision depending on the number of advertisers):
$100 / Month – This fee is for advertising on all websites managed by TCM for the duration of the paid term. Size & Placement to be determined by the webmaster.
As part of the service, Realtor groups will be the allowed to post one advertisement per day for property listings or general advertising on each Facebook Group managed by TCM. It shall be the responsibility of the Realtor Group to allocate the listing among their Realtors.
There are no minimum contracts. Terms run in consort with the calendar days of the month. There are no partial terms. Fee must be paid in advance.
Non-Profit Services
Nonprofit entities, including churches, associations or groups may post to TCM Facebook groups or Pages to advertise their services or solicit donations (as permitted by law) up to once a week at no charge. This notice shall serve as the written Agreement. Posting beyond this limit will require a paid advertising agreement to advertise on TCM websites.
$50 / Month – This fee is for advertising on all websites managed by TCM for the duration of the paid term. Size & Placement to be determined by the webmaster.
As part of the service, we will also allow the nonprofit to post up to three posts per week on each Facebook Group managed by TCM.

General Business
For profit businesses shall not advertise their products or services on Facebook Groups or Pages without a service agreement with TCM.
$100 / Month – This fee is for advertising on all websites managed by TCM for the duration of the paid term. Size & Placement to be determined by the webmaster.
As part of the service, we will also allow the business to post up to one advertisement per day on each Facebook Group and Page managed by TCM.

While Trophy Club Media may restrict advertising on Facebook Pages and Groups to which it owns or manages, TCM does NOT offer paid advertising strictly for Facebook Pages or Groups apart from of an overall Agreement for advertising services on our websites.
Government Interest & Community Events
All posts from the Town of Trophy Club, Denton or Tarrant Counties are not restricted. Likewise, any business or person may post links to a community event so long as the event is open to the general public.
News Sources
Posts may be cross promoted by entities owned or operated by Trophy Club Media. Advertising or Promotion of other news sources is not permitted.
